Yoga International Magazine

“…the Bible of yoga practice,” according to USA Today, Yoga International magazine is published “…to promote world peace through nonviolence, the harmony of existing faiths and religions…” Thought provoking, inspirational, and practical, the magazine challenges its readers to develop “self-discipline for growth on spiritual, mental, and physical levels.”. Completely redesigned with the November/December 2000 issue, Yoga International is published bi-monthly, bringing the reader authentic and practical information about the practice of yoga in today’s world. Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2001, each issue presents articles on meditation, personal growth, holistic health, and how all this fits together in the struggles of everyday life. Articles by renowned authors on these and other topics encourage readers to pursue their yoga practice and “…to gather the wick, oil, and matches and light their own lamp.”

The Himalayan Institute, The Center for Health and Healing, The Himalayan Institute Press, and Yoga International magazine work together to help individuals grow mentally, spiritually, and physically by combining the best knowledge of both the East and the West into daily life.
