In January 2001, the Institute inaugurated a new campus on the bank of the Ganges River in Allahabad, India.
Programs and Accommodations
This is no luxury New Age resort
but those who crave simplicity will find it here.
Travel & Leisure
Programs and seminars are offered year-round on topics such as yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, stress-management, vegetarianism, self-development, and holistic health. Programs are usually presented on weekends with some exceptions. Residential programs at the Institute are also available. These allow participants to share in the life of this community for varying lengths of time in order to facilitate spiritual and personal growth.
The main building of the Pennsylvania-based Himalayan Institute is a former seminary with spacious rooms for gatherings and classes, a bookstore, gift shop, homeopathic pharmacy, tea lounge, two dining halls and auditorium. Single, double, dormitory, and limited family accommodations are available upon request.
