Sleeper cars are popular on longer journeys. The Prayag Express, overnight from Delhi to Allahabad, was a popular conveyance to the Kumbha Mela. Foreigners, VIP government officials, villagers, businessmen, and pilgrims from all walks of life board the Prayag Express in Delhi in the evening and wake up the next morning in Allahabad.
